N.C. State (+6') vs. MARQUETTE - at Dallas, TX

Illinois held off Iowa State late last night to make it 3 of 4 winning days, and late-night tonight I have another winner to make it 4 of 5 winning days for you.

It's the Blue Jays and the Volunteers.

Winning Day # 4 of 5

75 Dime
College Winner # 20 of 29
( - and 11 of last 14 - )

Late-Night Bailout Lock - Part 2

Creighton vs. Tennessee - 10:10 ET

MATCHES Thursday's 75 Dime Winner
- Illinois (+1') by 3 over Iowa State -

Time for another 75 dime late-night winner for this Friday evening.

Make sure you are with me for this easy money winner.

The closest team resembling Cinderella left in this tournament has got to be the Wolfpack of N.C. State who are still alive and kicking as they get set to take on the #2 seed in the South Region, the Marquette Golden Eagles.

Kevin Keats' team has now won 7 straight games, and while the clock may strike midnight in Dallas tonight against a Marquette team that appears to be back in full flight with Tyler Kolek looking sharp in this tournament after missing Marquette's final 6 games with an oblique strain, I still recommend taking the points out for a spin tonight.

Shaka Smart's team did have their issues putting away a pesky Colorado team in the last round, as they won by only 4 as the -4 1/2 point favorites.

Entering this round of 16, all 3 Big East teams that made the tournament were still playing which is very respectable, but the ACC placed 4 of their representatives into this round of 16 and were 8-1 coming into Thursday's play! Even more respectable if you ask me!

Take the 'Pack plus the points to cover this number against the Golden Eagles on Friday.

Make no mistake, I am riding this one into the Winner's Circle.

Make sure you are along for the ride.

Houston has played a pair of games in this tournament, and thus far they have scored 86 points in their opening-round win over Longwood, and then 100 big points in their overtime win against Texas A&M. BOTH of those games landed Over the total, but I feel those results are more outliers, as this is a Cougars team that had played 5 of their previous 7 before this tourney Under the total.

Tonight Houston will face a Duke team that has played BOTH of their tournament games Under the total and has now landed Under the total in 3 in a row, and 11 of their last 13 games overall. For the season the Blue Devils are 21-13 Under the total, and they allow 66.5 points per game for the year.

Houston counters by allowing a measly 57.7 points per game, and they are 20-16 Under the total for the season.

I would be highly surprised if a third straight Houston game breaks out into an offensive score-fest. To me, the Cougars need to flash the defense that got them this far this season, so expect tonight's meeting in Big "D" to go low.

Blue Devils and Cougars Under the total,
